Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (2 - 12 hour shifts per month) to join our Crisis team. The Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) is a 24-hour, 16-bed facility providing intensive behavioral health crisis intervention for up to five days. Our multidisciplinary team includes Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners, RNs, LPNs, Medical Assistants, Therapists, Case Managers, Milieu Counselors, and Peer Support Specialists. The position offers a generous sign-on bonus, shift differentials, and comprehensive benefits, making it an excellent opportunity for dedicated nursing professionals. The Registered Nurse will deliver exceptional clinical care for individuals experiencing mental health and substance use crises, with a focus on person-centered, compassionate treatment. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, collaborative, and experienced in psychiatric nursing, with excellent de-escalation skills, sound clinical judgment, and an active RN license in good standing, along with current BLS certification.

The starting wage is based on licensure and company equity. Paid bi-weekly.
$42.7- $54.66 hourly
Employees who successfully pass a language assessment are eligible to receive bilingual differential pay. This differential is provided as a fixed amount of $3,000 per calendar year, paid on a bi‑weekly basis across 26 pay periods, and prorated based on hire date and full‑time equivalency (FTE). Eligibility and payment are subject to the language requirements of the position and the employee’s demonstrated proficiency in the language.

As part of this commitment, all employees are required to receive an annual influenza (flu) shot and present a negative TB test result before their first day of work. Proof of both the flu shot and negative TB test must be provided on your first day of employment. Medical and religious exemptions can be requested if necessary.
