Job summary

Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join our Crisis team at the CSU, a 24-hour, 16-bed unit providing intensive behavioral health crisis intervention. You will work onsite, with a flexible 2 x 12-hour shifts per month and weekend/holiday coverage as needed.

We offer shift differentials, a sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, and a language differential if applicable.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in psychiatric nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care for psychiatric and substance use crises.
• Administer medications and injections; monitor vital signs.
• Complete nursing assessments and document in EMR.
• De-escalate patient situations and coordinate with treatment team.
