Job summary

Seneca is seeking a Crisis Program Supervisor to lead a team delivering 24/7 crisis services for youth and families. You will coach, supervise, schedule, ensure documentation and safety, and maintain program quality.

The role emphasizes equity, anti-racism, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Requires a Master’s in Social Work/related field or a BA with crisis experience; on-call and driving requirements apply.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field OR Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of crisis/youth experience.
  • Be part of a rotating emergency on-call system.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and insurability.
  • TB test clearance and fingerprinting clearance as required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group supervision, coaching, training, and support to direct care staff.
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, performance management, and staff development efforts.
  • Foster an anti-racism, anti-oppression culture with equitable outcomes for youth, families, and staff.
  • Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure safe 24/7 program operations.
  • Maintain awareness of all youth in care and ensure safety planning and crisis response.
  • Respond to crises and provide consultation, guidance, and support to staff.
  • Review, approve, and provide feedback on documentation for compliance and billing.
  • Monitor program performance, contract requirements, and data reporting.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:
  • Education/Experience Requirements:
    • Master’s degree in Social Work/Counseling/Psychology/Marriage & Family Therapy OR
    • Bachelor’s degree + 3 years of experience
    • Applicable experience can include paid or unpaid experience working with youth or families, working in a mental health setting or providing crisis support to youth
  • Be part of a rotating emergency on-call system, scheduled ahead of time
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Senecas’ insurance policy
  • TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements
PREFERRED:
  • Ability to work as part of and facilitate the development of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Strong critical-thinking, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Supervisory experience
SCHEDULE
  • Full-time; four 10-hour shifts per week
    • Option 1: Monday - Thursday, 4pm - 2am
    • Option 2 : Wednesday - Saturday, 8am - 6pm
  • Exact schedule can be determined with the program Director
  • Rotating on-call shift scheduled ahead of time
BENEFITS
  • Starting at $83,319 - $97,319 per year
    • Actual salary dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications
    • Salary increase every year
