Job summary

Zepf Center is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech for the Crisis Stabilization Unit in Lucas County. The role stabilizes clients and returns them to the community, working in a 24-hour CSU setting for adults 18+. Shifts are 8:00 pm–8:00 am, 3 shifts weekly, with every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays.

Eligible candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field or at least three years of mental health experience, and a valid driver's license. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field OR at least three years' work experience in mental health.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be eligible for company vehicle use and insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Gathers collateral data at the scene/over the phone to resolve crises.
• Provides outreach service including crisis intervention.
• Accompanies clinicians in pre-hospital screening with clients.
• Works with patients' psychiatrists/providers and case managers.
• Facilitates care in collaboration with the health officer and care team.
• Documents services and billing information in the EHR.
