• 2–3 years of professional experience in agency/strategic consulting, political campaign or organization, law or similar setting.
• BA or BS in Political Science, history, journalism, International Relations or similar fields.
• Knowledge of basic PR skills and client service.

Responsibilities

• Serves as key team member to support complex, high-profile corporate issues/crisis communications.
• Drafts and reviews of press releases, crisis plans, media strategies, reactive statements, talking points, memos and other deliverables.
• Develops and reviews media and stakeholder materials based on outlines from supervisors.
• Supports monitoring and triaging client issues using industry tools to identify opportunities for growth.
• Liaises with clients and assists in client communications, including routine account materials.
• Prepares for and participates in client meetings with detailed recaps and action steps.
