Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Behavioral Health Crisis Clinician for the Emergency Department at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital - Behavioral Health. You will provide crisis intervention, brief psychotherapy, triage, and disposition recommendations in person and via telehealth as needed.

You will assess mental status, risk, and supports, develop discharge and safety plans with the care team, and coordinate with psychiatry.

Competenze

• Master's Degree in behavioral health sciences with a minimum of two years’ mental health experience.
• LCSW or LCPC licensure required.

Mansioni

• Provides crisis intervention, brief psychotherapy, triage, resource development and disposition recommendations for behavioral health patients of the Emergency Department and Medical Center via both in person and via telehealth as indicated by site.
• Provides direct specialized care with patients needing psychological assessment or interventions beyond general patient care, including mental status assessment and risk evaluation.
• Develops discharge and safety plans in consultation with patient, family, physician and health care team; coordinates plan implementation.
• Responds to codes and supports psychiatry team; facilitates admission processes and pre-certifications as needed.
• Documents data for billing and participates in supervision and training as required.
