Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in behavioral health sciences or related field with two years’ mental health experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides crisis intervention, brief psychotherapy, triage and disposition recommendations for behavioral health patients.
• Performs mental status assessments, psychosocial evaluation and risk assessment.
• Develops discharge and safety plans in consultation with patient, family and care team.
• Coordinates with Emergency Department and Behavioral Health Services for patient progress.
• Provides supervision and training to non-clinically licensed staff and interns.
• Participates in unit meetings and staff trainings.
