Job summary

Klickitat County is seeking a Designated Crisis Responder/Therapist for the Goldendale, WA area. The role is full-time, non-exempt, with a schedule consisting of three 12-hour shifts and 4 hours of administrative time weekly to total 40 hours.

The DCR provides crisis intervention, coordinates hospital placements, and collaborates with emergency responders to stabilize clients safely. Required are a Master’s degree in social work or related field and two years of clinical experience; licensure as

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience.
• Eligible for registration as Agency Affiliated Counselor or licensed LMHC/LICSW or related license.

Responsibilities

• Receive crisis service calls and respond in the community to assess safety and needs.
• Determine least restrictive environment for crisis stabilization.
• Arrange client placements for hospitalization or detox as needed.
• Communicate with Behavioral Health team and participate in safety planning.
• Complete clinical and legal documentation for each call and maintain records.
• Provide testimony in court as required.
• Attend weekly supervision and team meetings.
• Support quality management, compliance and chart reviews.
