Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social or behavioral science or RN eligibility.
• Eligibility for recognition as Mental Health Professional (MHP) or WA DOH affiliate license.
• LMHCAs/LMFTAs/LSWAs encouraged to apply.
• Ability to work independently in high-acuity behavioral health settings.
• Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive, recovery-oriented care.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health crisis investigations in hospitals, community settings, and Clark County.
• Evaluate individuals in acute mental health or substance use crises.
• Assess risk of harm to self, others, or grave disability.
• Determine involuntary treatment eligibility under WA state law.
• Identify voluntary treatment options and less restrictive alternatives.
• Collaborate with hospitals, law enforcement, EMS, and community providers.
• Prepare clinical assessments, legal docs, and supporting evidence.
• Provide testimony in required court proceedings.
