Job summary

Comprehensive Healthcare in Ellensburg, WA is seeking a Crisis Outreach Professional to join our Acute Care team. You will respond to crisis calls, assess safety, coordinate hospital placements or outpatient treatment, and work with emergency responders and partners in the community.

The position involves four 10-hour shifts with regular travel across Kittitas County. Master’s degree in social work or related field is required, plus licensure eligibility and driving credentials.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field.
• Two years of experience providing behavioral health treatment preferred.
• Must be eligible for designation as Mental Health Professional.
• Must be eligible for WA credentials: LAAC, LMHC/LMHCA, LICSW/LICSWA.
• Must have valid driver's license and vehicle liability insurance.
• Post-offer, pre-employment drug screen and background check required per state/federal guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Receive crisis calls and respond in the community to assess safety and gather information.
• Determine least restrictive environment and coordinate crisis stabilization and disposition.
• Arrange client placements for hospitalization or detox as needed.
• Collaborate with Comprehensive treatment teams and participate in safety planning.
• Complete required clinical and legal documentation for each call.
