Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a designated crisis responder (DCR) to conduct comprehensive behavioral health crisis investigations and assess individuals in acute crises across Clark County, WA. The role emphasizes trauma-informed, recovery‑oriented care, independence in decision‑making, and collaboration with multiple public safety and health partners.

The DCR will determine involuntary treatment eligibility under ITA, document clinical findings, and provide testimony as needed,

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a social/behavioral science field or RN eligibility.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in high-acuity behavioral health environments.
• Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive and recovery-oriented care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health crisis investigations in various settings across Clark County.
• Assess risk of harm to self, others, and grave disability.
• Prepare clinical assessments, supporting evidence, and testify in court when required.
• Collaborate with hospitals, law enforcement, EMS, and community providers.
