Job summary

Lancaster County is seeking a Crisis Intervention Supervisor for the Behavioral Health and Developmental Services division. This full-time, third-shift role supervises a team of social service workers providing crisis services to individuals and families in need.

Responsibilities include training interns, coordinating trainings with college staff, reviewing case records, and ensuring compliance with regulations. On-call rotations may apply; health and retirement benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional social work experience with a bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent with 12 college credits in related social sciences).
• Strong supervision, case review and staff training abilities.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention principles and community resources.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and trains a small group of professional social service workers.
• Coordinates and reviews case records to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Provides crisis counseling to children, youth and families in mental health crisis.
