Job summary

Center for Community Resources is seeking a Crisis Intervention Specialist for the 1pm–9pm shift, with rotating weekends and holidays. The position offers a $.75/hr differential for late hours and up to two remote days per week after six months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field with major coursework in sociology, social work, psychology, or related disciplines.
• Experience in mental health field preferred (one year).
• Valid driver’s license and required clearances (Act 33/34, FBI).

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention via text, chat, and phone.
• Link clients to community mental health, drug, and alcohol services.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques to manage crisis situations.
• Maintain confidentiality and document interventions accurately.
