Job summary

CBEM LLC in Eureka, CA is seeking a Critical Intervention Specialist to provide crisis support, develop stabilization plans, and collaborate with psychiatrists, BCBA, and psychologists. In-person, full-time, exempt role reporting to the Program Director.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in a related field, has human services experience, a California driver’s license, and resides near Humboldt, Trinity, Mendocino, or Del Norte counties.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master’s Degree in Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, Social Work, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Sociology, or related fields.
• Experience in the human services field required.
• Must have a California Driver’s license in good standing and insurance.
• Proximity to catchment area: Humboldt, Trinity, Mendocino, Del Norte counties.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to individuals in crisis; preventative, acute, or chronic crisis management.
• Develop a Stabilization Plan and Case Review.
• Consult with a Psychiatrist, BCBA, and Psychologist.
• Participate in a hotline rotation to address acute crisis calls.
• Participate in clinical trainings.
• Participate and/or facilitate Interdisciplinary planning meetings.
