Job summary

CBEM LLC in Covina, CA seeks a Critical Intervention Specialist to provide crisis support and stabilization planning for individuals with developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental health disorders.

The role reports to the Program Director and requires a Master’s degree in a related field plus at least one year of relevant experience; a California driver’s license is also required. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in MFT, MSW, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Educational Psychology, or ABA required.
• One year of experience working with persons with challenging behaviors required.
• California driver’s license in good standing and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to individuals in crisis; preventative, acute, or chronic crisis management.
• Develop a Stabilization Plan and Case Review.
• Consult with a Psychiatrist, BCBA, and Psychologist.
• Participate in a hotline rotation to address acute crisis calls.
• Participate in clinical trainings and interdisciplinary planning meetings.
