Job summary

CBEM LLC in Covina, CA seeks a Critical Intervention Specialist to provide crisis support to individuals with developmental disabilities and co‑occurring health issues. You will develop stabilization plans and review cases, and collaborate with psychiatrists, BCBA, and psychologists to ensure comprehensive care.

The role requires a Master’s degree in relevant fields and at least one year of experience with challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy (MFT), Social Work (MSW), Counseling (Clinical, School, or Guidance), Clinical Psychology, Educational Psychology, or Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• One year of experience working with persons with challenging behaviors is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to individuals in crisis; preventative, acute, or chronic crisis management.
• Develop a Stabilization Plan and Case Review.
• Consult with a Psychiatrist, BCBA, and Psychologist.
• Participate in a hotline rotation to address acute crisis calls.
• Participate in clinical trainings.
• Participate and/or facilitate Interdisciplinary planning meetings.
