Job summary

CBEM seeks a Critical Intervention Specialist in Eureka, CA, to provide crisis support and stabilize individuals with developmental disabilities and co-occurring health issues. This in-person role reports to the Program Director and requires a Master's degree in a related field.

Extensive services include crisis management, case reviews, and collaboration with psychiatrists and clinicians. Hybrid perks and growth opportunities accompany a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master's Degree in Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, Social Work, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, sociology, or other related Psychological fields.
• Experience in the human services field required.
• Must have a California Driver's license in good standing and insurance.
• Preferred experience with the Developmentally Disabled population is a bonus!

Responsibilities

• Provide support to individuals in crisis; preventative, acute, or chronic crisis management.
• Develop a Stabilization Plan and Case Review.
• Consult with a Psychiatrist, BCBA, and Psychologist.
• Participate in a hotline rotation to address acute crisis calls.
• Participate in clinical trainings
• Participate and/or facilitate Interdisciplinary planning meetings.

Location: Eureka, CA (and surrounding counties), In-Person/Onsite Required

Reports to: Program Director

Employment Status: Full-time, Exempt

Salary: $72,510.98 + opportunities for quarterly bonuses

Who You Are

Given the requirements of the crisis response time, applicants must live in close proximity to or in the catchment area (which includes the following counties: Humboldt, Trinity, Mendocino, & Del Norte counties ).
