Job summary

Comprehensive Healthcare is seeking a Crisis Outreach Professional to join the 24-hour Acute Care team. You will respond to crisis calls, perform in-community assessments, and arrange hospital or outpatient placements as needed.

The role emphasizes safety, collaboration with emergency responders, and trauma-informed care. Qualifications include a Master's degree in a related field, two years of behavioral health experience, and credentials for crisis responder designation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field.
• Two years of prior experience providing behavioral health treatment.
• Eligible for designation as Designated Crisis Responder.
• Eligible for a credential with the Dept of Health as Mental Health Professional.
• valid driver's license, vehicle liability insurance, and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Receive calls for crisis services and respond in the community to assess safety.
• Determine least restrictive environment for crisis resolution and stabilization.
• Arrange client placements for voluntary and involuntary hospitalization or detox.
• Communicate with treatment teams and participate in safety planning.
• Complete clinical and legal documentation for each call.
