Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related field.
• Licensure as LMFT / LCPC / LCSW preferred by Illinois regulatory boards.
• Ability to document in electronic or paper medical records with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention, case management and clinical services.
• Actively listens, uses motivational interviewing and crisis interventions to ensure safety and determine actions.
• Exercise clinical judgment to ensure safe, logical and appropriate decisions.
• Resolve crises in a manner that is clinically appropriate and least restrictive.
• Respect cultural values of clients and collaborate with families and community resources.
• Work with law enforcement and emergency departments in crisis situations.
• Provide follow-up case management as assigned.
