Job summary

Thurston Mason BH-ASO/OHRS is seeking a Crisis Helpline Clinician to join our 24/7 crisis services team in Lacey, WA. You will respond via phone, text, and chat, perform risk assessments, and develop stabilization plans with callers.

This role supports the Washington 988 Lifeline and the Regional Crisis Line, with hybrid work options after training. Experience in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
• 2 years of college coursework including behavioral health courses and 2 years of supervised direct behavioral health experience.
• Meets Washington Agency Affiliated Counselor requirements.
• Experience with crisis intervention, risk assessment, and behavioral-health service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Crisis Line (RCL & 988) calls, texts, or chats delivering crisis intervention and support.
• Triage to resources and dispatch mobile crisis teams when needed.
• Document accurately in electronic health records per state and 988 standards.
• Follow up with callers to support stabilization and engagement with care.
• Collaborate with crisis teams and partners to ensure quality care.
