Job summary

The WestHouse Administrator is the supervising manager of the County-owned 24-hour mental health crisis facility. The Administrator supervises the provision of critical support and direct care to individuals in crisis, ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment and adherence to program policies.

They coordinate with the medical director and other providers, manage facility operations and budgets, and report directly to the Board of County Commissioners.

Qualifications

• Background check required after offer.
• Valid driving license with clean record.
• Advanced conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of state/federal mental health regulations.
• Proficient with electronic records and audits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day crisis facility operations.
• Maintain a safe, structured environment.
• Recruit, hire, and train staff.
• Provide client-centered care during crises.
• Manage 24/7 staff scheduling and on-call support.
• Communicate facility needs to the Board of County Commissioners.
• Oversee facility budget and contracts with providers.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and documentation.
• Collaborate with HR for staff onboarding and training.
• Facilitate staff meetings and professional development.
