Job summary

The WestHouse Administrator at Ravalli County oversees the county-owned 24-hour mental health crisis facility, providing leadership for direct care, safety, and therapeutic environments. You will supervise staff, coordinate with the medical director, and ensure policy-compliant operations.

This exempt, full-time role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least three years in mental health leadership, and strong skills in communication, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' experience in mental health, social services, or crisis intervention.
• Minimum three years in a leadership or management role.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field (master’s preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the crisis facility.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and train staff.
• Ensure a safe, structured environment.
• Maintain 24/7 staff scheduling and on-call support.
• Manage facility budget and contracts with providers.
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant documentation.
• Collaborate with HR for staff processes.
• Report to Board of County Commissioners.
• Provide client-centered care and crisis intervention.
