Western Tidewater Community Service Board invites you to join our team as an Overnight DSP Shift Lead. This full-time, salaried position focuses on implementing treatment plans and maintaining a safe environment for individuals with developmental disabilities, SED, or SMI/SA in a community-based setting.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, one year of relevant direct care experience, and a valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• One year of direct care service in a Developmentally Disabled/Mental Health setting preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable DMV record required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementation of consumer treatment plans.
• Maintain a safe environment and monitor individuals with DD/SED/SMI/SA.
• Support care, monitoring and overall well-being of individuals under care.

Responsibilities and Duties for an Overnight DSP Shift Lead:

• Assisting with the implementation of consumer treatment plans
• Care, monitoring, evaluation and maintenance of a safe environment for individuals identified with one or more of the following:
• Developmental Disabilities (Adult or Child)
• Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) (Children /Adolescents)
• Serious Mental Illness and/or Substance Abuse (SMI/SA).

Qualifications and Skills for an Overnight DSP Shift Lead:

• High School diploma or GED Certificate.
• Possession of a valid Driver’s License with an acceptable DMV record.
• One year of direct care service in an Developmentally Disabled/Mental Health setting.
