Job summary

Chimes in Exton, PA is seeking a Crisis Specialist for our Crisis Residential Program to conduct crisis intervention, stabilization, assessments, treatment planning, and aftercare planning.

You will lead clinical care during shifts, perform biopsychosocial assessments, provide individual and group therapy, and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and agency policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in social sciences with 1+ year of relevant experience.
  • Experience in a behavioral health setting, including crisis assessment, triage, intervention and connection to resources.

Responsibilities

  • Possess knowledge of laws, regulations, contractual requirements, and agency procedures.
  • Provides staff training as identified by Clinical Coordinator or Director.
  • Complete Biopsychosocial Assessments on new clients.
  • Acts as the clinical lead of the program during designated shift.
  • Follow agency policies and procedures for client care.
  • Implement clinical crisis service goals aligned with agency policy.
  • Maintain training and personnel documentation as required.

Job Description

It is the responsibility of the Crisis Specialist to conduct crisis intervention and stabilization services in a sub-acute residential treatment setting, including assessments, treatment planning, aftercare planning, case management, as well as individual and group therapy.

Schedule Details

Sunday through Thursday; 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm or Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Job Functions
  • Possess knowledge of all laws, regulations, contractual requirements, and agency policies and procedures governing the services performed.
  • Provides training to staff as identified by the Clinical Coordinator or Director.
  • Complete Biopsychosocial Assessments on new clients.
  • Acts as the clinical lead of the program during their designated shift.
  • Possess knowledge of and the ability to follow agency policies and procedures to carry out the care and treatment of clients.
  • Implement clinical crisis service goals consistent with overall agency goals and policy/procedures.
  • Report to direct supervisor and other administrative staff as required, in a timely and comprehensive manner.
  • Maintain personal compliance with all required training requirements and personnel documentation standards.
Minimum Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in social sciences with relevant professional experience of at least 1 year OR Master's degree in social sciences with relevant professional experience of at least 1 year

Experience: Experience in a behavioral health setting, including experience with crisis assessment, triage, intervention, and community resources/systems.

Licensure/Certification: Licensure and/or certification preferred.

Clearances: Pennsylvania Child Abuse, Criminal, and fingerprint-based federal criminal history; Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list

Note: At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted instead of the requirements specified under Education and Experience
