Kenosha Human Development Services is seeking a part-time KARE Center Staff for the KARE Center in Kenosha, WI. The role reports to the KARE Center Program Manager and includes intake, supervision, and coordinated care for residents during 2nd shift.

Responsibilities include creating a supportive environment, documenting progress, monitoring medications, and responding to emergencies. Must have a high school diploma and be able to work weekends; Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with AODA/Mental Health population a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Ability to maintain records and document case notes daily.
• Be willing to learn and work with the treatment philosophies; able to work two weekend shifts per month.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Create a positive, supportive mood in the center.
• Admit residents, open files, complete paperwork, and document progress notes.
• Monitor residents’ medication per state guidelines and arrange emergency care when needed.
• Provide supervision and bed checks as required; respond to calls and Crisis Hotline.
• Participate in scheduled trainings and staff meetings.
