Compass Health, Inc. in Jefferson City, MO, is seeking a part-time Behavioral Technician - Crisis Center (As Needed). Location: 227 Metro Drive. Schedule: PRN, As Needed with weekend and evening availability required.

As a Behavioral Technician (Internal title: Community Living Instructor BHCC) at our Behavioral Health Crisis Center, you’ll provide care, comfort, and support during a crisis, under supervision. You’ll help with daily needs, safety, and creating a welcoming, safe environment.

Qualifications

• High School or GED preferred.
• At least one year of psychiatric, nursing, or emergency room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered support to individuals during crisis, ensuring daily needs are met
• Monitor safety and engage with individuals to create a supportive environment
• Participate in medication administration (following L1MA training)
• Share observations and feedback with the treatment team to enhance care
• Assist in keeping the BHCC environment organized, clean, and welcoming
• Act as a mentor to new staff and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
