Job summary

Compass Health Network is seeking a Behavioral Technician for our Crisis Center in Jefferson City, MO, offering weekend overnight hours (7p–7:30a) at $19.00 per hour. This part-time position (BHCC) supports individuals in crisis under supervision, focusing on safety, daily needs, and compassionate care.

Work includes mentoring new staff, coordinating with the treatment team, and maintaining a calm, clean, and welcoming environment. High School/GED preferred with 1 year of related experience.”

Qualifications

• High School/GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of psychiatric, nursing, or ER experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered support to individuals during crisis, ensuring daily needs are met.
• Monitor safety and engage with individuals to create a supportive environment.
• Participate in medication administration (L1MA training).
• Share observations and feedback with the treatment team to enhance care.
• Assist in keeping the BHCC environment organized, clean, and welcoming.
• Mentor new staff and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
