Job summary

Compass Health Network seeks a Behavioral Technician to support individuals in crisis at the Wentzville BHCC. This PRN, part-time role provides compassionate, person-centered care under the supervision of the Triage Clinician Lead.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety, assisting with daily needs, and contributing to a collaborative care environment while mentoring newer staff as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High School/GED preferred.
• At least 1 year in psychiatric, nursing, or ER work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered crisis support and meet daily needs.
• Monitor safety and maintain a supportive environment.
• Participate in medication administration (L1MA training).
• Share observations with the treatment team to improve care.
• Keep BHCC organized, clean, and welcoming.
• Mentor new staff and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
