Job summary

FDLE is seeking an OPS Criminal Justice Information Analyst II in Tallahassee, FL. Under supervision, you will review missing data in the Computerized Criminal History (CCH) repository and research various databases to ensure information is accurate and compliant with state and federal requirements.

You will enter additions, deletions, and modifications to CCH, provide quality assurance, and maintain NCIC/FCIC certification while safeguarding data across agency systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research for accurate and complete criminal justice information using internal and external databases.
• Analyze source documents and enter additions, deletions, and modifications in CCH per CHRM SOP.
• Maintain contact with local/state/federal agencies for documentation needed for record modifications.
• Ensure quality assurance of all CCH additions, deletions, and modifications through secondary review.
• Evaluate changes to CCH records and support documentation for modifications.
• Review information to approve or reject modifications as outlined in CHRM OPs.
• Evaluate and analyze incoming requests applying state and federal rules to ensure compliance.
• Process incoming requests for completeness and enter into CCH workflow.
• Apply rules, procedures, and policies for maintenance of criminal history records.
• Maintain various logs and records of requests received and processed.
