Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or a related field and at least 2 years of law enforcement experience; a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in Criminal Justice is preferred. Courses may require day, evening, or weekend sessions.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will possess expert skills, knowledge, experience and education in the subject area and a history of successful teaching or related experience.
• A master’s degree in criminal justice or a master’s degree in any related field with at least 18 graduate hours in Criminal Justice courses.
• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or a related field and professional law enforcement experience (minimum 2 years).

Responsibilities

• Adjunct faculty positions are appointed on a course-by-course, semester basis.
• Responsibilities include teaching developmental and/or college-level courses, which may include distance-learning courses during the day and evening, on weekdays and weekends.
• Primarily face-to-face with the possibility of remote instruction.
