Job summary

Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty Pool in Criminal Justice. Teaching may include online, on-campus, or hybrid delivery and may cover developmental or college-level courses.

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or a related field and at least 2 years of law enforcement experience; a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in Criminal Justice is preferred. Courses may require day, evening, or weekend sessions.

• The successful candidate will possess expert skills, knowledge, experience and education in the subject area and a history of successful teaching or related experience.
• A master’s degree in criminal justice or a master’s degree in any related field with at least 18 graduate hours in Criminal Justice courses.
• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or a related field and professional law enforcement experience (minimum 2 years).

KSA's/Required Qualifications
