Job summary

DSHS/Office of the Secretary is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to conduct research, collect and analyze police employment, training, certification, and accreditation standards for Delaware Officers and Departments. The role includes criminal intelligence analysis, crime mapping, link analysis, and coordination with law enforcement agencies to identify security threat groups and organized crime activities.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with government law enforcement

Qualifications

• Six months experience in criminal investigation or intelligence for government law enforcement or international agencies.
• Six months experience in research, collection, correlation, and analysis of information to identify patterns of criminal activity.
• Six months experience in interpreting criminal laws, rules, regulations, standards, and policies.
• Six months experience using automated information systems for data entry, retrieval, and reporting.
• Six months experience using spreadsheet software to create charts, graphs, tables, and maps.
• Knowledge of federal regulations regarding collection and dissemination of criminal intelligence information.
