Responsibilities

• Provide direct legal and administrative support to a senior criminal defense attorney.
• Assist with criminal cases from initial intake through resolution, hearings, and trial.
• Draft, prepare, and organize pleadings, motions, discovery requests, subpoenas, and other legal documents.
• Review and organize discovery materials, evidence, police reports, and investigative records.
• Coordinate court appearances, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Maintain litigation calendars, track deadlines, and ensure compliance with Florida court procedures.
• Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, prosecutors' offices, and other legal professionals.
• Assist with witness coordination, trial exhibits, and case strategy preparation.
• Maintain organized case files and ensure strict confidentiality of sensitive information.

This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned legal professional with extensive criminal defense experience, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to independently manage complex legal matters in a fast-paced environment.
