Job summary

New Jersey Judiciary – Essex Vicinage is seeking a detail-oriented Court Services Supervisor 2 for the Criminal Division. You will manage case flow, review PSI/PTI reports, and coordinate unit work to ensure efficient operations.

The role requires a bachelor's degree plus three years of relevant experience, with substitution options described in the posting. A hybrid schedule is available with potential remote days.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree and three years of professional experience, one year of which shall have included experience in case management; enforcement of court orders; and/or supervision, monitoring and intervention of offenders.
• Substitution: more experience may replace education on a year-for-year basis; 30 semester hours equal one year of paraprofessional/professional experience.
• An associate degree plus two years of paraprofessional/professional experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• A master’s degree may substitute for one year of general experience; a law degree may substitute for two years.

Responsibilities

• Oversee case flow management and measure court performance using automated case management systems.
• Review, correct, and approve Pre-Sentence Investigation and Pre-Trial Intervention reports for quality and timeliness.
• Direct and coordinate work between units; develop procedures to improve efficiency; monitor compliance with laws and directives.
