Job summary

The New Jersey Judiciary – Essex Vicinage is seeking a detail-oriented Court Services Supervisor 2 in the Criminal Division. Under the general direction, the successful candidate will manage case flow, review PSI/PTI reports, and coordinate work across units to ensure timely dispositions.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule with up to two remote days and requires strong written and oral communication, plus the ability to supervise and coach staff.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree and three years of professional experience.
• Experience in case management, supervision, and enforcement of court orders is preferred.
• Possession of a valid New Jersey driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage case flow, dispositions, calendar clearance, and backlog reduction using automated systems.
• Review, correct, and approve Pre-Sentence Investigation and Pre-Trial Intervention reports.
• Direct and coordinate work between units or teams; develop policies to improve efficiency.
• Supervise, coach, and develop professional and support staff; conduct performance advisories.
• Ensure compliance with laws, court rules, and administrative directives; coordinate with judges and counsel.
