Job summary

Yanfeng in Highland Park, MI is seeking a material handler to dispense production materials, pre-stage inventory, and maintain safety and organization in the workspace. • Dispense production materials to manufacturing and maintain transaction log.
• Pre-stage production material and maintain a safe and organized work area.
• Verify packing slips and sign-off per procedures.
• Perform cycle counts daily, flag part numbers at minimums.
• Mark and identify tools and equipment.
• Receive, unpack, and store incoming tools and equipment, and requisition stock to replenish inventory.
• Track material costs to pre-defined Cost Centers.
• Safe auditing, track audit closure, participate in incident reviews and write or assist in problem analysis report process and aid in corrective action closure.
• Communicate safety information as necessary and participate in safety meetings and activities.
• Distribute incoming package as needed.
