Description

Team Fishel, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is looking to hire Crew Leaders for our Telecommunication projects for our Phoenix Metro area location. The Telecom Crew Leader will be responsible for assisting the supervisor by leading field crews to meet project goals in a safe manner. The ideal candidate must be able to read prints, plan crew schedule, assist with estimating, coordinate scheduling, permitting, documentation, and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Leads on various size projects
2. Ensures accuracy of timesheets and expense reports
3. Develops work-around procedures for maintaining crew productivity during delays caused by other trades, customer, lack of materials, absenteeism, etc.
4. Monitors Quality Assurance and ensures installations meet customer specifications and industry standards.
5. Ensures safety practices are observed by all crews during their work
6. Reports, coordinates, and supervises all aspects of a project
7. May work independently performing site surveys for estimates, proposal preparation, or quality assurance

Requirements & Qualifications:

1. Valid CDL Class A License highly preferred
2. Must have previous experience working from blueprints and specifications
3. Experience: 3+ years
4. Must have experience running a crew of 4 to 5
5. Ability to work extended hours
6. Equipment operating experience (backhoe, mini excavator, trencher, plow, etc.)
