Insulation Commandos of Greater Phoenix is seeking a dedicated and skilled Insulation Technician to join our expanding team. As an Insulation Technician, you will play a crucial role in improving energy efficiency, comfort, and safety in residential and commercial buildings. Your responsibilities will include the installation and removal of various insulation materials, radiant barrier installation, rodent mitigation, air sealing, and air duct cleaning.

Duties include:

1. Insulation Installation: Install fiberglass, foam, cellulose, and spray foam in wall and ceiling cavities per project specifications.
2. Insulation Removal: Safely remove old or damaged insulation, minimizing structural damage.
3. Radiant Barrier Installation: Install barriers to reflect heat and improve energy efficiency.
4. Rodent Mitigation: Seal openings to prevent pest entry.
5. Air Sealing: Identify and seal air leaks for better energy efficiency and comfort.
6. Material Handling: Transport and store insulation materials properly.
7. Safety: Follow safety protocols, use PPE, and handle materials safely.
8. Quality Control: Ensure installation meets industry standards.
9. Documentation: Keep accurate records of work, materials, and issues.
10. Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in insulation installation is preferred but not required.
• Background in construction, drywall, painting, masonry, landscaping, or related fields.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform demanding tasks.
• Willingness to undergo additional training and certifications.
