Lawn Masters Crew Leader Job Summary:

We are currently looking for both a Crew Leader for:

• Lawn Maintenance
• Landscaping

Position Overview:

• The right candidate should have at least 1 year of experience as a LEADER in residential or commercial lawn mowing and landscaping.
• You should be able to work with minimal supervision, as part of a team, and direct the activities of two or more team members.
• As a Crew Leader, you should be enthusiastic, personable, detail-oriented, honest, reliable, and self-motivated.
• You need a working knowledge of lawn mowing, maintenance techniques, lawns, plants, and all landscaping aspects.
• An eye for a beautiful aesthetic look for the customer is important.
• You will be responsible for safely and efficiently coordinating lawn mowing, maintenance, and landscaping efforts, while providing excellent customer service that meets or exceeds client and management standards.
• You will handle necessary paperwork and follow daily work lists to complete routes in a timely manner. Weekend work is mandatory when weather conditions disrupt the schedule.
• Landscaping sheets are involved with development maintenance or on-time jobs.
• Accurate recording of hours is essential for proper input and paperwork.
• You must be comfortable operating all maintenance equipment, such as zero-turn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools like rakes, shovels, and edgers.
• A valid and clean driver’s license is required to operate company trucks. Experience with driving trucks and trailers is necessary, as you will often be hooked up to a trailer.
• You will also be part of Lawn Masters' snow and ice management system during winter.

We pride ourselves on maintaining our clients’ exteriors in various weather conditions, ensuring safety during inclement weather by removing debris, snow, and ice from walkways and shared spaces.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Ability to operate lawn maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hedge trimmers.
• Ability to stand, bend, squat for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to use a wheelbarrow.
• Minimum 1 year of verified work experience with references.
• Must speak English.
• Valid ID, social security card, and driver’s license are required.
• Reliable transportation and a working cell phone are necessary.
• Must be of legal age.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete daily paperwork, work lists, and record hours accurately.
• Take pride in work quality, and demonstrate honesty and good attendance.
• Experience with heavy equipment is a plus.
