Job summary

Monster Tree Service of South Charlotte is seeking a seasoned Crew Leader / Senior Climber who combines expert climbing and arboricultural skills with strong leadership and accountability. You will direct daily operations on residential and commercial sites, ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction across all phases of tree care.

You will lead by example, coach team members in proper climbing, rigging, pruning, and equipment use, and collaborate with the Sales Arborist to ensure scope

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience leading tree crews on residential and commercial sites.
• CTSP, ISA, TRAQ certifications preferred; NC Applicator License.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required.
• Pre-employment drug test clearance required.
• W2 hourly with overtime; benefits package offered.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise daily operations on residential and commercial sites.
• Coordinate with Sales Arborist and Operations Manager for safety and scope.
• Delegate tasks, assign roles, and ensure safe, efficient work.
• Conduct pre-job briefings (JSA) and post-job reviews; continuous improvement.
• Train and mentor crew in climbing, rigging, pruning, and equipment use.
• Provide on-site client communication and ensure satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory and equipment; ensure site cleanup and respect for property.
• Track revenue targets and crew productivity; report KPIs.
