Job summary

Monster Tree Service in North Carolina seeks a seasoned Crew Leader / Senior Climber to lead residential and commercial tree projects, perform removals, pruning, and rigging, and ensure the highest safety and quality standards. You will manage job sites, coach team members, and maintain clear client communication while upholding our core values.

3+ years leading crews and CTSP/ISA/TRAQ certifications are preferred; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience leading, mentoring and training a residential and commercial tree crew.
• A clean valid Driver’s License is absolutely 100% REQUIRED; CDL preferred but not required.
• CTSP, ISA, TRAQ Certifications and NC Applicator License preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Jobsite management: direct and supervise daily operations on residential and commercial job sites.
• Coordinate with Sales Arborist and Operations Manager to ensure scope accuracy and safety.
• Delegate tasks, assign roles, and ensure crew members execute work efficiently and safely.
• Conduct pre-job briefings and post-job reviews with the team.
• Provide real-time coaching and corrective feedback when performance or safety lapses occur.
