Heartwood Tree Care in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced tree climber to join our crew. You will perform advanced climbing, pruning, and removals, operate chainsaws and bucket trucks, and drive CDL-equipped trucks in a safety‑conscious team.

Qualifications

• Climber experience with SRT and DRT systems, spurless pruning, and advanced rigging.
• ISA Certified Arborist preferred.
• CDL Class B or A strongly preferred.
• Strong rigging and removal background.
• Able to lead a crew and make smart calls in the field.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced tree climbing, pruning, and removals.
• Handle complex rigging and technical removals.
• Operate chainsaws, chippers, bucket trucks, and heavy equipment.
• Drive company trucks, CDL required vehicles included.
• Watch for hazards and keep the crew working safe.
• Communicate clearly with ground crew throughout the job.
• Make sure job sites are cleaned up and left right.
