Job summary

Gillette Air Conditioning is seeking a Controls Wiring Foreman to oversee the installation of low voltage wiring systems on construction sites, managing a crew of 2+ technicians. The role involves reading EMCS/BAS proposals, coordinating materials, and ensuring compliance with plans, specs, and codes.

You will lead by example on safety, quality, and teamwork, teach wiring and controls concepts to junior crew members, and coordinate with supervisors to meet project timelines while maintaining

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Willingness to teach wiring and controls concepts and processes.
• Basic math and measuring skills.
• Ability to use hand tools safely.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation of low voltage wiring, conduit, controllers, and sensors for control systems.
• Read and interpret proposals for EMCS or BAS.
• Read construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Order, track, and manage materials for assigned projects.
• Ensure adherence to specs and state/local codes.
• Test systems after installation to ensure quality and readiness for inspections.
