Job Title: Chief Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chief Surveyor to lead and supervise a field survey crew on various assigned projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, as-built, and construction layout surveys, ensuring all work is completed in accordance with project requirements and company standards.

• Operate and maintain survey equipment including GPS, total stations, data collectors, and robotic instruments.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in surveying, topography, land surveying, boundary surveying, and topographic surveys.
• Experience with total station and ALTA/NSPS surveys.
• Ability to operate GPS, total stations, data collectors, and robotic instruments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

Work Environment

This position requires working on-site with a schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break. Surveyors will use a work vehicle that must be returned at the end of the day. The company offers a small, family-like atmosphere with a great retention rate and opportunities for overtime.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Butler, NJ.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $79000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
