Apex Systems is seeking an AV Crestron Programming Specialist in Chantilly, VA. The role combines design, development, and testing of high-performance AV solutions for government clients, with on-site deployment and configuration responsibilities.

Applicants should have a SME level of expertise, strong Crestron programming skills (SIMPL+ / C#), and a background in network programming. Collaboration with facilities teams and vendors is essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related work experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience in system integration, testing, and troubleshooting of complex A/V systems.
• Hands-on experience with network programming.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test high-performance AV solutions for government customers.
• Generate custom audiovisual system designs using Crestron technologies.
• Support stakeholder meetings to collect and document system requirements.
• Research and recommend technology options to resolve customer issues.
• Support onsite deployment and system configuration phases.
• Coordinate with facilities teams and subcontractors during installation.
• Develop end-user training materials and maintenance plans.
• Perform in-house testing and on-site commissioning at client locations.
• Develop expertise via continuing training and certifications.
