Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions seeks an Audio Visual Programmer (Associate, Mid-Level, or Senior) to join our team in Herndon, VA. You will provide expert programming and architectural support for AV systems, with a focus on Crestron environments and government projects.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required; CIP preferred.
• Willingness to obtain Counterintelligence Poly (CIP).
• 1+ year related work experience or equivalent education.
• Proven Crestron programming experience.
• Proficiency in C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, and Visual Basic.
• Experience in AV system integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on network programming experience.
• Familiarity with systems engineering principles and integration best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test high performance AV solutions for government customers.
• Generate custom audiovisual system designs using Crestron technologies.
• Support customer stakeholder meetings to collect and validate system requirements.
• Research, identify, and recommend technology options to solve customer problems.
• Support onsite deployment of AV systems and system configuration phases.
• Coordinate with customer facilities teams and other onsite sub-contractors and vendors during systems installation.
• Support the development of end-user training materials and operations and maintenance plans.
• Perform in-house testing and on-site commissioning at client locations.
• Develop expertise in the industry through continuing training, certifications, and review of trade publications.
