Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions seeks an experienced Audio Visual Programmer (Associate, Mid-Level, or Senior) to join our team in Herndon, VA. This role focuses on delivering high-visibility AV projects for government customers, with emphasis on Crestron equipment and environments.

You will design, develop, and deploy AV solutions, support system requirements gathering, and work with on-site teams to ensure successful deployment and maintenance. A TS/SCI clearance is required; CIP preferred.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance (past 24 months considered active).
• Willingness to obtain a CIP or currently have CIP.
• Level 2: 1+ years of related work experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Proven Crestron programming experience and system environments.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, JavaScript, Perl, Python, Visual Basic.
• Experience in system integration, testing, and troubleshooting of complex A/V systems.
• Hands-on network programming experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with systems engineering principles and integration best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test high performance AV solutions for government customers.
• Generate custom audiovisual system designs using Crestron technologies
• Support stakeholder meetings to collect/validate system requirements
• Research and recommend technology options to solve customer problems
• Support onsite deployment and system configuration phases
• Coordinate with facilities teams and subcontractors during installation
• Develop end-user training materials and operations/maintenance plans
• Perform in-house testing and on-site commissioning at client locations
• Develop expertise through ongoing training and certifications
