Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Associate Degree/Certification in engineering drafting/design plus 6+ years drafting and design experience.
• CURRENT CREO experience with modeling and fully associative drawing creation.
• Creo model-centric drawings knowledge and practice.
• Experience with design standards and configurations.
• Applying CAD methodologies and standards; review docs for compliance.
• Provide expert technical consultation to division and customer community.

Responsibilities

• Develops innovative concepts satisfying functional and operational requirements for existing products and new programs.
• Prepares moderately complex design layouts, schematics or sketches with test plans and specifications.
• Prepares drawing packages to military or ASME standards.
• Checks drawings, test plans and change history for clarity and accuracy.
• Evaluates drawings for producibility and viability; validates tolerances and materials.
• Performs calculations such as design evaluations and tolerance studies.
• Identifies design issues and recommends revisions for improvements.
• Interfaces with internal customers to solve technical problems; may interface with external customers.
