Job summary

American Crematory Equipment Company is seeking disciplined Field Service Technicians to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and commission crematory equipment across the United States. This role requires hands-on technical work, leadership, and customer interaction to ensure reliable operation.

Ideal candidates have strong electrical and mechanical skills, experience with PLCs/HMIs, and the ability to travel nationwide.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience required.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot crematory equipment operational issues
• Perform repairs on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and combustion systems
• Inspect and test burners, flame safeguard controls, gas trains, blowers, and safety devices
• Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, temperature controls, and instrumentation systems
• Repair and replace valves, actuators, motors, sensors, switches, and control components
• Perform startup, commissioning, and operational verification of new equipment
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and service visits
• Verify proper calibration of combustion and control systems
• Complete detailed service reports and customer documentation
• Communicate findings and repair recommendations to customers and management
• Travel nationwide for service assignments and emergency repairs
