Job summary

Gateway Services Inc. is seeking a Regional Maintenance Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair crematory equipment and facility systems across multiple locations. This travel-heavy role demands hands-on problem solving and a focus on safety and reliability.

You’ll travel up to 80% across regional sites, diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, read schematics, and train on-site staff. A high school diploma or trade cert and boiler experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, G.E.D., or trade/technical certification.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience (HVAC, controls, PLCs, refractory, or similar).
• Hands on boiler experience.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 80%.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and using diagnostic tools (preferred).
• Working knowledge of general building maintenance and repairs.

About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Maintenance Manager, you’ll be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing crematory equipment and facility systems across multiple locations. This is a dynamic, travel-heavy role where your expertise ensures operational excellence, safety, and reliability.

What You’ll Do

• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot crematory machinery and building systems
